I have been with Indigo Marketing for 4 years now and they have been excellent! As a small RIA, I look at them as my outsourced Digital Marketing department. I love how my newsletters are customized to my niche and are in my voice. The newsletter content development is a collaborative process. My clients love my newsletter and I have gotten clients from it. Indigo has also helped me launch LinkedIn campaigns and Facebook ads. I love how the whole team is very responsive and truly engaged in helping me grow. Just recently they helped me with my SEO efforts. My relationship with my account manager, Heidi Wilson, has been critical for my marketing strategy with Indigo Marketing Agency. She is amazing, responsive, trustworthy, and has my strategy completely under control. It’s not a “sit it and leave it” process. I have a lot of questions and ideas and things I want to incorporate or try new, and she helps me grow and grows with me. I never feel like I need to shadow manage her. Any random idea, thought, or question I toss her way, I can be confident that she either responds or holds it until we have our meeting so we can fully vet it out and decide if there will be any action. I don’t have to keep my own list of topics because I’m confident she’s keeping it for us. I never wonder if she’s going to drop anything, and I have a pretty high bar. When we discuss any concept or idea, I’m confident her truthful recommendation is rooted in understanding my personal brand under the umbrella of our corporate brand. She shares the logic and reasoning so I can understand the “why” behind her advice. My time and attention on this topic is random and often clustered together. We’ve made the decision to outsource our marketing to experts instead of trying to hire in-house. But Heidi ebbs and flows with my schedule, instead of forcing me to fit into a canned marketing program. I truly feel like Heidi operates like a company employee, working with me, with the same company pride and passion as an employee. This approach is her secret sauce. Behind Heidi is the Indigo team. The writers have an amazing talent for taking a standard business-like social media post or topic and weaving in elements that highlight who I am as a person, not just a wealth manager. This level of personalization has made a significant difference in my pride about my content and, I believe, in what strikes a chord with my followers.
